Yes, you need to show evidence that you have B1 English level. This can be proved by either passing an approved English Test at level B1 of the CEFR in reading, writing, speaking and listening; or alternatively, completing an academic qualification that was taught in English and is recognized by UK NARIC as being equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree level or above.
First, you will first need an unconditional offer for a course from a licensed student sponsor. Your sponsor will issue you with a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). Once you obtain your CAS reference number, you will be able to apply for a Student Visa.
If your course of study is below degree level, you will be able to work 10 hours per week during term time and If your course of study is at degree level or above you are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week.
